Happy Armed Forces Day...

Thank you to all the Men & Women of out Nation's Armed Forces!

This year will be the 53rd Annual Armed Forces Day City of Torrance Celebration! You can go and see all the really cool exhibits at the Del Amo Mall this Friday through Sunday. I know the kids really enjoy this! I enjoy the parade and have fond memories of watching the parade when I was in Jr. high and High school. When I was in college, I still went and took my little brother...who is now a Marine. I now take my son so it really is a family tradition to me. This year the parades honored branch is the United States Air Force. To find out more about the Armed Forces Day events this Friday-Sunday, check out the City of Torrance website.

Torrance Macaroni Kid is proud of our Nation's Military and would like to thank all of the men and women of our Nation's Armed Forces!

See you at the parade!

Warmly,
Denise

Chicken Pesto Pasta Salad

Summer and pasta salad go hand in hand in this house. I LOVE having the ease of having a chilled pasta salad waiting for us in the fridge when we get home from the pool or zoo or whatever we have done that day. Add the benefit that there is no cleaning dishes and I can’t think of a better quick meal! We eat so much pasta salad, however, that I have had to come up with variations so that we don’t get bored with our typical “family ...
