The Michael Botte Foundation was established in memory of Michael Botte, an experienced and well known professional within the field of digital media and an avid proponent and advocate of technology in classrooms throughout the country. Our mission is to support teachers by providing the resources needed for technology in the classroom. Through funding and professional development, we strive to assist teachers in preparing young minds for the digital age. We are committed to transforming education by providing students and teachers with technology that will enhance learning and foster creativity. We believe that the right tools can empower students and give them the best chance at academic success.

The Michael Botte Foundation supports and offers grants to K-12 teachers for providing technology in the classroom. Our purpose is to help make the latest technology accessible for all students.
History:
Founded in December 2012, The Michael Botte Foundation was established in memory of Michael Botte by his wife, friends and colleagues. Mike’s life ended way too early at the age of 40 after just an 8 week battle with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Mike was survived by his wife, a two year old daughter, an unborn son, his parents, brother, sister and countless friends and colleagues. Mike’s life ended way too soon, but his passion for education and making a difference lives on through the foundation.
