We received a fun and educational book from our friends at Sylvan Dell Publishing called Hey Diddle Diddle, A Food Chain Tale written by Pam Kapchinske and illustrated by Sherry Rogers.Sing along to this light-hearted romp while learning about different food chains within a single ecosystem. Which animals come out on top, and which animals end up as snacks? Hey Diddle Diddle teaches children about the food web, the circle of life, and the part that each living creature plays within an ecosystem. This book is so much fun, kids will have a hard time believing that they are actually learning. My 7 year old thought that it was a fun way to learn about the food chain. Recommended for ages 3-8 years old.As usual, with all Sylvan Dell publishing books, it has an awesome "for creative minds" section at the end of the book. This one has educational activities such as Herbivore or Carnivore? and Predator or Prey? Check it out at Sylvan Dell Publishing.
